Addison Johnson | North Idaho Senior Session | How I Plan Senior Sessions
Addi!!! This was such a wonderful summer session! So many great locations and outfits.
Addison chose my largest option, with unlimited outfits and 3 locations. For this option, I plan a meeting with my seniors before the session day, so we can talk about their vision.
If you're a senior photographer, I HIGHLY recommend meeting with your seniors before their session—or, if meeting in person isn't possible, hopping on a quick FaceTime or Zoom call. Here's why:
Creates a connection with your senior and helps ease those first-session nerves.
Eliminates endless back-and-forth through emails and texts.
Iron out the details like outfits, locations, props, hair, and makeup.
Sparks more creativity by brainstorming ideas together and getting to know what your senior is excited about.
Solidifies the vision for the session so you both walk in knowing exactly what you're creating together.
For Addison's session, we decided to go to Fernan Lake in Coeur d'Alene, Riverview area in Post Falls, and end at a sunflower field in Liberty Lake/Greenacres area.
She knew she wanted a variety of outfits, so she brought a mix of dresses as well as more casual outfits.
Didn't they turn out cute??!?!
LOVE!
